Shoots
Shoots (ar_shoots) is a map of the Arsenal: Arms Race mode that is more open compared to Baggage.
History of the Shoots map
The first mention of the Shoots map occurred on February 6, 2013, when Valve added Arms Race. After which there were no updates on this map at all.
But in Counter-Strike 2 Shoots it got a second wind. The geometry of the map has remained virtually unchanged. But the lighting and quality of textures have improved significantly. True, the developers did not introduce optimization into the map, which is why players with weak computers do not have an easy time at all, but that is of secondary importance.
Initially in CS:GO, before the addition of purchased models for characters, the Pirates faction fought on the map for terrorists and the GIGN faction for counter-terrorists.
According to official informationdevelopers cards are:

Review
This map is medium in size, giving players the ability to move around easily. In the spirit of the Baggage map, players often actively explore the area, while some choose to take cover behind wooden structures and paths.
There are no dead ends in Shoots, making chasing opponents unnecessary or, in some cases, beneficial, depending on strategy and other elements. In most cases, it is more effective to lure the enemy into a trap or use continuous fire to destroy them.
Snipers prefer to take up positions on the edges or corners of the map, usually trying to avoid the central part.
Players can also use objects on the map to jump and climb onto the roofs of buildings, which allows enemies to take high-altitude positions and attack players at spawn points.
Hot Spots
Action knows no bounds on this map as fire flies from all directions, turning players and objects into their targets. To stay alive, it is imperative that you avoid close encounters unless you have the Golden Knife in your hands.
It is important to actively use map geometry. Staying at one point for more than ten seconds will most likely cause your defeat, so take advantage of every opportunity to move.
And finally, always be on your guard: opponents can attack unexpectedly, both from behind and from above.
Additional Tactics
Submachine gun
Focus on the high rate of fire of your weapon and try to outshoot your opponents. In some cases, it will be effective to forcefully enter enemy territory or use maneuvers without stopping fire, provided that sufficient skill and support are available. For long-range targets, it is recommended to continue shooting until the target is destroyed.
Shotgun
One approach is to retreat and look for a better position to attack, or, conversely, to aggressively close the distance and aim for the opponent's upper body.
It is important to be in close proximity to the target for a guaranteed one-shot kill.
Assault rifle
Destroying targets can be done from any distance. The main obstacles can be weapon recoil and reduced mobility, potentially leaving you vulnerable to enemy fire.
Machine gun
Eliminating enemies should be a relatively simple task, but be aware of the weight of the weapon and the intense recoil that can give the enemy a chance to destroy you.
A gun
Some players may find it difficult to effectively eliminate enemies due to low damage (exception: Desert Eagle) and/or poor accuracy with heavy recoil. The best way to survive is to kill already weakened opponents who have been wounded or exhausted in previous encounters.
Golden Knife
If you have reached this stage, congratulations — you are at the most desirable and difficult stage of the regime. Your task is to kill the enemy player with a knife to earn points for your team. Once the enemies realize that you have reached this stage, they will focus on you, so be prepared to defend heavily. To increase your chances of success, try to attack with allies or ambush the enemy from behind or from above, aiming to strike in the back or whenever possible.
