Butterfly Knife
“This is a custom-designed balisong, commonly known as a butterfly knife. The defining characteristic of this weapon is the fan-like opening of a freely pivoting blade, allowing rapid deployment or concealment. As a result, butterfly knives are outlawed in many countries.” ― Official description

Interesting facts
The design of the Butterfly Knife is believed to be inspired by a combination of scimitar and gargoyle features from an idea by Terry Gwynn. The Lore version of this knife has a technical inaccuracy: its float value can vary from 0 to 1, while other knives in the Lore series have this range limited to values from 0 to 0.85.
The Butterfly Knife features two inspection animations that play randomly. One of them shows the player flicking a knife with ease to open it. In another, the player effectively spins the knife in the air before grabbing it by the handle.
There are also three types of Butterfly Knife inspection animations that are activated randomly. In one, the player manipulates the knife back and forth, then holds it on the safe side between the thumb and forefinger, balancing the blade on the remaining fingers. In another, the knife is rotated around the thumb several times before being grasped in a similar position. The third animation shows the player flicking the knife and spinning it around their thumb before gripping it again in the same manner.
Also known as the Balisong or Batangas Knife, the Butterfly Knife has Filipino roots. It was often used as a razor before more traditional razors became common in the Philippines.
