ExoJump Boots Overview
The ExoJump Boots, introduced in the April 30, 2019 update, are an equipment item in Danger Zone that enhance the player's jumping capabilities. Comparable to the Long Jump Module from various GoldSrc games, these boots allow for significantly higher jumps when the JUMP key is pressed while standing. When the player is crouched and presses JUMP, a long jump is executed, covering a greater distance at a speed surpassing running (regardless of the item held).
Moreover, ExoJump Boots reduce fall damage by 60% passively.
Players can obtain the ExoJump Boots in any Danger Zone match by choosing the ExoJump deployment perk at the beginning or finding them as a pickup on the map. To equip boots found on the ground, the player must press and hold the USE key.
Behind the Scenes
ExoSuit Game files from various updates contain references to a full-body Exosuit, suggesting it is a separate item that might function similarly to the ExoJump Boots. However, the exact differences between the ExoSuit and ExoJump Boots remain unclear.
