Overview
The Wrench, a melee weapon, was added to the game files of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on July 6, 2018, and became available with the update on December 6, 2018, which also introduced the Danger Zone mode.
In Danger Zone, the Wrench serves as an exclusive melee weapon. Players can find it inside tool crates or scattered on the ground. When attacking, it inflicts 7 damage from the front and 14 damage from behind. Wearing armor reduces the damage taken by 15%.
Additionally, players can throw the Wrench using the alternate fire key. When thrown, it deals 60 damage, but this is reduced to 30-50% if the target is armored.
