Results of the fourth day of VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff

On February 24, the fourth day of VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff took place. Three matches were played: Natus Vincere against Team Liquid, BBL Esports met KOI, and Fnatic battled against Team Vitality, with NAVI/KOI/FNC emerging victorious.

On the first map, NAVI led 4-1, but TL won several rounds in a row, ending the first half in their favor with a score of 7-5. However, in the second half, NAVI dominated TL, winning eight rounds in a row and reaching 13 rounds, taking the first map with a score of 13-7.

The second game was eventful. NAVI led 5-2 thanks to ardiis's clutch in a 3v1, but TL also managed to win four rounds in a row, resulting in a tied score in the first half. In the second half, NAVI dominated, ultimately winning with a score of 13-7.

The second match of the fourth day was a battle between BBL and KOI. KOI won the first map with a significant lead. In the first half, BBL couldn't stop KOI attack, as they surged ahead with a score of 10–2, leading to halftime. In the second half, BBL caught up, but KOI managed to win the match with a score of 13-5. On the next map, BBL confidently started with a score of 6-2, however, KOI didn't yield and closed the match with a score of 13-10.

The Group C final was a match between FNC, winners of two international tournaments last season, and Team Vitality. On the first map, Lotus ATC managed to win seven rounds in a row and finish the first half with a score of 8-4. In the second half, Team Vitality made a comeback, but it wasn't enough to defeat the competition favorites, leading to a score of 14-12 in favor of FNC. The next map was uneventful, and FNC easily closed it with a significant lead of 13-5.

Thanks to this victory, Natus Vincere and Fnatic will advance to the playoffs and are one step closer to Masters Madrid. The remaining participants will compete on February 25th.
