In the latest patch 10.08, Riot Games made significant adjustments regarding agent balance, the Swiftplay mode, and visual effects. The developers emphasize that they are listening to the community's feedback and continue to monitor the agent meta. Tejo was particularly affected—this hero proved too effective, and his abilities underwent significant changes.
Key Changes in Patch 10.09
Tejo
Riot acknowledges that Tejo's rockets have caused "unhealthy gameplay situations," and now they want to increase the cost for each use.
Guided Salvo
- Cost — 150 credits
- 1 charge is given at the start of the round
- Each shot consumes one charge
- Reload during the round removed
- Targeting range on the map reduced from 55m to 45m
Stealth Drone
- Cost increased from 300 to 400
Special Delivery
- Cost reduced from 300 to 200
Armageddon
- Now requires 9 points instead of 8

Breach
By changing the activation time of Fault Line, the developers noted that the ability activates too quickly and does not align with their counterplay policy. Therefore, they are increasing the chance to avoid being stunned.
Fault Line
- Now activates 1.2 seconds after activation (was 1 second)

More Gifts — More Good
Starting May 15, the gift limit in the game increases from 5 to 10 per day. This coincides with the release of the Give Back // V25 collection—a portion of the proceeds from gifts will go to charity.
Swiftplay Update
In the Swiftplay mode, the starting number of ultimate points has been increased for several agents to boost the chance of using an ult per half:
- Breach — Rolling Thunder: from 2 to 3
- Killjoy — Lockdown: from 2 to 3
- Viper — Viper’s Pit: from 2 to 3

Bug Fixes
- The “Easter” glow effect for Bolt Flex skins has been restored—it was found to be safe for sensitive players
- Fixed a bug where kill banners for some skins (such as Oni and Evori Dreamwings) appeared smaller than intended
Known Issues
- A new bug with Bolt skins makes them too bright—this will be fixed in patch 10.11
- An error with Omen allows dead allies to see through Viper's smoke—a fix is expected in 10.10
Patch 10.09 will be available in the game on May 14 in Europe and will bring significant changes to the meta.
