Jinggg remained with Paper Rex despite the military call-up

Singaporean organization Paper Rex has decided not to part ways with player Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie, who is heading for mandatory military service, but instead transition him into the role of a substitute player. This information was announced on the official Twitter account.

The departure of Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie from the Pape Rex team was known even before the start of the Valorant Champions 2023 World Championship, which the team finished in second place, losing to Evil Geniuses in the grand final. But on October 6th, it became known that the club's management decided to keep him as part of the roster for VCT 2024, transitioning him into the role of a substitute player. After the season concluded, Paper Rex began the search for a new player to replace Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie, and this player became Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha from the Global Esports team.
