Rumors: MKOI VALORANT roster and coaching staff set for changes

The roster and coaching staff of the esports organization MKOI in the VALORANT discipline are reportedly set for changes ahead of their next tournament in the EMEA region, according to multiple sources.

Before the start of the 2024 season, MKOI built a new VALORANT roster by signing three newcomers, one of whom was brought in from the United States. However, the team has now failed to achieve any significant results in two consecutive tournaments. The first — VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff — ended with a bottom-tier finish (9th–12th). The next — VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 — is still ongoing, with one group stage match remaining, but the outcome no longer affects the team's fate: they are guaranteed to exit the tournament. The only question is whether they finish in 9th–10th or 11th–12th place.

Even before the tournament ends, SheepEsports reported insider information stating that head coach Harry "Gorilla" Mepham and assistant coach Laike "temoc" Lewis will leave the team following the conclusion of EMEA Stage 1.

In addition, another — less verified — source has suggested that the roster itself may see changes, with Bogdan "Sheydos" Naumov and Dom "soulcas" Sulcas potentially departing from the team.

So far, none of this information has been officially confirmed by the organization. All eyes now turn to MKOI's final match at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, scheduled for April 24 against Gentle Mates. Fans will have to wait until after the match to see if any official announcements follow.
