Top 20 best Valorant players in 2024

The Valorant Champions Tour 2024 brought many unexpected events to the audience. Among them are the financial problems of BLEED Esports and the loss of the team's slot in the affiliate program, as well as the first Chinese world champion in the 4 years of the discipline's existence. However, professional players usually attract the most attention, so it's time to summarize the results of the past competitive season. Today, our editorial team has prepared a material for you in which we have collected the 20 best professional players of 2024 in Valorant.

How we determined the 20 best players

In order to determine who was included in the list of the 20 best players of 2024, we collected statistics using our section. We analyzed more than 50 players who participated in at least two of the three major tournaments in 2024, including Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai, and Valorant Champions 2024. Data from the Kickoff and Stage 1 and Stage 2 tournaments were not taken into account, as these are only regional events. Therefore, the data from international tournaments were selected according to the following indicators:

  • ACS (Average combat score)
  • ADR (Average damage round)
  • KPR (Kill per round)
  • DPR (Death per round)

Based on the analysis of the above metrics, Bo3 editors have identified the 20 best players in Valorant in 2024, and will tell you about them below.

20#. Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom

Munchkin's move from T1 to Gen.G Esports was the right decision, and although both teams are from Korea, the performance and level of play are very different. As a result, under the Gen.G flag, the player had his best season, during which he won 2nd place at Masters Madrid and later became the champion of Masters Shanghai, but the results at the World Championship were quite low, so Munchkin is only ranked 20th among the best players.

19#. Zhang “Smoggy” Zhao

A little-known Chinese player who only gained general recognition in 2023, when China officially joined the three Valorant competitive regions. Smoggy spent the last three years of his career at EDward Gaming. Having given his all to the Chinese club, he achieved the results that every professional player in Valorant strives for, winning the world title by winning this year's Valorant Champions 2024.

18#. Nathan “leaf” Orf

One of the most experienced players in the sentinel position, leaf spent the last year as a member of G2, where he was one of the key players among his teammates who tried their hand at the tier 1 scene only a year ago. Thanks to his experience, as well as the enthusiasm of his young teammates, G2 had a pretty good season, during which they placed among the top three in major tournaments three times. Leaf himself earned the title of Sentinel of the Year, and will continue to defend the flag of the American team in the future.

17#. Dominykas “MiniBoo” Lukaševičius

Team Heretics were the best team in the EMEA region last season, and a lot of credit for this goes to MiniBoo. The Lithuanian player has dominated the tier-2 scene in the past and joined Team Heretics under the leadership of his brother at the end of 2023. Despite the lack of experience in the tier-1 scene, MiniBoo had an impressive season, and in many matches he held the highest positions in his team's post-match table. Thanks to this, he entered the top 20 best players of 2024, and we are sure that he will surpass his result in the future.

16#. Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto

The captain of Paper Rex and one of the few players on our list who hasn't changed teams during his time on the Tier 1 stage. Jason Susanto joined Paper Rex in 2021, and since then, he has continued to defend the flag of the Singaporean organization year after year. He successfully did it during 2024 as well, and despite some changes in the team, f0rsakeN helped his teammates to win the 3rd place at this year's Masters Madrid as IGL.

15#. Kim “Karon” Won-tae

Another Gen.G Esports player, Karon, rounds out the top five players of 2024. The young 22-year-old player is a real find, because with almost no experience on the tier-1 scene, he joined the Korean tops at the end of 2023 and had a very successful season. Thanks to the title of Controller of the Year at VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2, as well as the MVP title at VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff, Karon is one of the main rising stars of the Valorant Pacific scene, and the professional organization Gen.G will allow him to develop his skills to the fullest.

14#. Tyson “TenZ” Ngo

There is probably no one left in the Valorant information space who hasn't heard of this Canadian player. TenZ was undoubtedly one of the most famous and popular professional players during the 4 years of existence of the Riot shooter. But nothing lasts forever, and 2024 was his last year as a professional player. After the season, TenZ became a streamer and content maker for the Sentinels organization, but his contribution will always be remembered.

13#. Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov

A permanent member of Fnatic, who continues to play under the club's banner for the second year in a row, and has no plans to stop. Chronicle and his teammates led Fnatic to glory in 2023, when the team won 2 international tournaments and took 4th place in the championship. Despite the fact that 2024 was not so successful for the Orange, Chronicle himself showed a great game, and his results earned him a place in the list of the 20 best players of 2024.

12#. Wan “CHICHOO” Shunzh

The young 21-year-old player CHICHOO is one of the youngest players to win the championship title. His story is quite simple but effective at the same time. In 2021, he joined EDward Gaming, and since then, he hasn't left the team and continued to improve his skills. This led to the fact that last season EDward Gaming won the Valorant Champions 2024, and CHICHOO himself became one of the players who showed the best results.

11#. Enes “RieNs” Ecirli

The strongest team in the EMEA region has to have the best initiator, and that's exactly what RieNs is. Despite the fact that he is only 20 years old, he cannot be accused of lacking experience, as he has gained it both on the tier-2 and tier-1 scene over the past 2 years. His contribution to the history of Team Heretics allowed the team to become the strongest in its region, and he was awarded the title of Initiator of the Year.

10#. Emir “Alfajer” Beder

Opening the top ten players of 2024 is Alfajer, who is another representative of Turkey. Just like RieNs, with whom they competed for the 10th place in our top, Alfajer is very young, and only turned 19 in June 2024. Even so, he has been playing for Fnatic's top EMEA team for the second year in a row, and he has no plans to stop, judging by the fact that his contract with the organization has been extended.

9#. Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish

In the past, benjyfishy was one of the most famous professional players in Fortnite, earning more than $650,000 during his career. In 2022, he started his journey in Valorant, first as a streamer, but after years of career, he joined Team Heretics as a player. After only a year of competing on the tier-1 stage, he earned more than $100,000, which really shows how talented this guy is in a variety of professional shooters.

8#. Ilya “something” Petrov

The player of the silver medalists of the 2023 World Championship also continues to impress with his personal skill. Despite the fact that his team did not earn important victories during the current season, something himself does not give up and consistently shows a high level of play, which is why he is on our list.

7#. Wang “Jinggg” Jie

The story of the Singaporean player Jinggg, who also plays under the Paper Rex banner, is quite interesting. In 2023, he took a break from the Valorant competitive scene to serve in the army, which is mandatory in his country. After that, many believed that Jinggg could no longer perform at the highest overall level, but this is not the case. The player returned and had a great season in 2024, during which he qualified for the World Cup. Although his team didn't win any significant victories, Jinggg himself showed that his skills stayed with him, and it was thanks to them that he entered our list of the top 20 players.

6#. Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev

Another former Fnatic player, though now a former Fnatic member, has made our list of the top 20 players of 2024. Derke is an example of a stable player who, regardless of the performance of his team, shows good results in most situations. But his journey with the club is over after 2024, and in the future he will defend the flag of Team Vitality and compete against his former teammates.

5#. Kim “Meteor” Tae-o

The last five best players are opened by the famous Korean sentinel - Meteor. It was he who, together with Karon, who we wrote about on the 15th position of our top, led Gen.G to victory at the Shanghai Masters this year. But despite this, Meteor still left the club, and in 2025 he will try to fix the rather poor position of the T1 organization on the international scene.

4#. Zachary “zekken” Patrone

Zekken is another shining example of how youth does not mean lack of experience. He joined Sentinels in 2022 and has been improving his skills ever since, reaching the top in 2024. He became the first Filipino player to win the Masters Madrid 2024 and also scored 101 kills, which made him equal with Demon1, who is one of the best duelists in the world.

3#. Kim “t3xture” Na-ra

A member of Gen.G Esports once again found himself in the top 3 best players, which once again proves the professionalism of this Pacific team. T3xture won the title of VCT Pacific 2024 MVP and Duelist of the Year at VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2, and the current season was one of the best for him.

2#. Erick “aspas” Santos

The second place goes to the duelist who is called the best in the world. Erick “aspas” Santos is distinguished by his consistently high level of play, which does not get worse even after years. He spent the whole of 2024 at Leviatan, but for some reason he moved to MIBR, where he was rumored to be selecting players for the new roster himself. Despite this, aspas will show a high level in any team, and we have no doubt that in 2025 he will again be among our top players.

1#. Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang

The most famous Chinese duelist ZmjjKK, who is also known under the pseudonym KangKang, closes the list. This Chinese star first shot back in 2022, and since then he has consistently shown good results at championships. But high results were not enough for him, and armed with the Operator rifle, ZmjjKK conquered Valorant Champions 2024, making EDward Gaming the first team from China in the region to win the championship. ZmjjKK undoubtedly deserves to be on the 1st place in our top because he is the only player to score more than 700 points in the overall standings, and he is the best player in Valorant according to Bo3 after the end of 2024.
