Riot Games has officially announced the 7.10 update, which is currently being tested on the test server. Among the few changes, the Valorant community will finally see a buff to Deadlock and a few other agents.
Let's recall that well-known dataminers, including Mike ValoLeaks, recently announced patch 7.10, in which, according to their information, there will be a change in the balance of agents and mentions of a new set. Read more about this in our material. Today, this information has been confirmed, and the developers officially announced the long-awaited Deadlock buff.
As it became known, the agent will not be completely reworked, but for now, only one of her abilities will change. The developers decided to significantly strengthen the gravitational grenade Gravnet. Now, opponents who fall within the grenade's radius need to independently get rid of the negative effect, whereas previously, players could simply fly out of it using certain abilities. Also, players caught in the radius of Gravnet will be weakened, receiving reduced mobility. In addition, the grenade's radius of action increased from 6m to 8m, and the duration of the negative effect doubled, from 0.85 seconds to 1.5 seconds.

It is still unknown how this will affect the 'dead' agent, but Riot Games decided to start with small changes. Most likely, if such a radical strengthening of Gravnet does not have the desired effect, the developers will strengthen her other abilities in the future.
Two other agents, Fade and Reyna, were also changed, but the changes will only affect the team Deathmatch mode.
