It's been over 13 days since the release of the new agent ISO in Valorant. Our editorial team decided to review and create a list of agents that prove problematic when encountering ISO, as well as those who can be an effective counterpick.
The release of agent ISO turned out to be not without issues. Due to insufficient testing time, some gameplay bugs related to interactions with existing agents in the game were overlooked. Currently, one of these agents is considered an effective counterpick to ISO, namely KAY/O.
If ISO activates his ultimate against agent KAY/O, whose own ultimate is also activated, it is likely that both agents will perish, as ISO will not have enough time to kill KAY/O and finish him off. Another agent posing a significant threat to ISO is Reyna. If she regenerates her health using Devour, then in Kill Contract mode, she will have 200 health instead of the usual 150. Below is a list of agents that are challenging for ISO.
Can't beat Iso in a 1v1? Just use KAY/O Ult 😈pic.twitter.com/rVJsRSOE5I

Agents against whom ISO should not be picked:
- Phoenix (Run it Back)
- Reyna (Devour)
- Kayo (NULL/CMD)
- Yoru (Fakeout)
The developers have acknowledged a bug with KAY/O, as reported by Valorant's lead software engineer, Markus Reed. Regarding Reyna's 200 health, there have been no official statements, so it's currently uncertain whether this is a bug or a feature.
