Several well-known dataminers have shared information about the upcoming 7.10 patch in Valorant. According to the information available, the game's community will finally see changes in the "dead" character Deadlock and several other agents.
The first to report this information was the Turkish insider Valorant Leaks Türkiye. On his Twitter account, he revealed that references to the upcoming update were found in the game files and listed the possible changes.
According to the dataminer, in patch 7.10, Riot Games plans to fix one of the weakest existing agents - Deadlock. Despite fans' expectations, the developers will not completely redesign the agent, but the fix will only relate to one ability - Gravnet. It is still unknown how exactly Riot plans to strengthen the gravitational grenade.
Also, the rest of the changes in the upcoming patch will only concern characters. Leaks Türkiye reports that there will be changes in Jett's third-person animation. This is most likely related to her ultimate. Now enemies will be able to see the trajectory of the flying knives better and be able to dodge them. In addition, there will be changes in Team Deathmatch mode, which will be aimed at agents Fade and Reya, but it is not yet known what these changes will be.
The main change, of course, is the correction of Deadlock's abilities. The entire gaming community, including professional players, has been stating since the release of the last update that the agent is the weakest and needs a complete overhaul. Recently, players have created a separate appeal to Riot Games. Read more about this below.
