T1 becomes the second Grand Finalist of Masters Bangkok 2025

In the lower bracket final of Masters Bangkok 2025, the battle between EDward Gaming and T1 determined not only the third-place finisher but also the second slot in the grand final, where G2 Esports was already waiting for its opponent.

Just like their previous encounter with Team Vitality, T1 had already faced EDward Gaming earlier in this tournament and suffered a loss. This match was not just an opportunity for them to secure at least second place, but also a chance to take revenge and prove to their fans that their faith in T1’s success was justified.

The match started with a huge surprise—T1 completely dominated EDward Gaming on their own map pick, winning Bind 13-4. The second map looked more like a battle between world champions, but only until the 4-9 scoreline—after that, the Korean squad turned the game around, making a comeback to win 13-10. It seemed like the series would end on the third map, but EDward Gaming was not ready to give up yet. They managed to secure Fracture in overtime, 14-12. However, on Split, T1 once again proved their superiority, confidently closing the series 3-1.
