Gen.G Esports secured a clean 2:0 victory over Paper Rex in the Swiss stage of Masters Toronto 2025, taking the maps Ascent (13:11) and Icebox (13:3).

This win in the second round of the Swiss stage earns Gen.G one of the four available playoff spots, where the top teams from each region’s Stage 1 are already waiting. The losing side, Paper Rex, is not eliminated but drops to the 1-1 pool, where they will play a do-or-die match for playoff qualification or elimination. That match will take place the day after tomorrow, with their opponent to be determined after tomorrow’s games.

VCT 2025: Masters Toronto runs from June 7 to June 22 in Canada. The tournament features 12 teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and points needed to qualify for VALORANT Champions. More details about the schedule and results can be found via the link.
