EMSTAR settings

EMSTAR utilizes a mouse sensitivity of 1.25 paired with an 800 DPI setting, resulting in an effective eDPI of 1000. This configuration offers a balance between precise aiming and swift crosshair movement, which is particularly advantageous for tracking opponents and executing flick shots without sacrificing fine control.

EMSTAR’s crosshair is set to a Classic Static style with a minimalistic design—featuring a gap of -4, length 1, and thickness 1, and with the center dot disabled. This setup, combined with a custom RGB color (light cyan), ensures clear visibility on all backgrounds while minimizing distractions, facilitating precise headshots and quick target acquisition in high-pressure situations.

EMSTAR plays on the ZOWIE XL2566X+, a high-end esports monitor renowned for its ultra-fast refresh rates and low input lag. This monitor provides exceptionally smooth motion clarity, allowing EMSTAR to react to in-game events with greater speed and accuracy, which is critical for competitive play at the highest level.

EMSTAR relies on the Rampage Blitz Ultimate 8K mouse and the Rampage Zenith Pro 8K keyboard. Both devices support extremely high polling rates, ensuring rapid and precise input registration. This hardware combination reduces latency and provides the tactile feedback necessary for quick, consistent in-game actions.

EMSTAR opts for a 1280x960 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio set to stretched mode, played in fullscreen. He disables V-Sync and G-Sync to minimize input lag, sets most details to low for higher frame rates, and uses 8x MSAA for clear edges. This approach maximizes both performance and target visibility, crucial for spotting opponents quickly.

EMSTAR customizes his HUD with the team color scheme and a scale of 1 for clarity. His radar is set to always rotate and center on the player, with a map zoom of 0.4 and HUD size of 1. These settings ensure that essential information is always in view, allowing for quick tactical decisions and better map control.

EMSTAR uses the HyperX Cloud I headset, a model known for its clear directional audio and comfortable fit. This allows him to accurately pinpoint enemy footsteps and other critical in-game sounds, giving him an edge in reacting to threats and coordinating with teammates.

EMSTAR plays on the Razer Gigantus V2 mousepad, which offers a large, smooth surface that facilitates consistent mouse movement. EMSTAR launches Counter-Strike 2 with the options '-novid -noreflex'. The '-novid' command skips the intro video for faster game startup, while '-noreflex' disables NVIDIA Reflex, which suggests he prefers to manage latency through his hardware settings rather than software-based solutions, potentially to maintain consistency across different systems.

EMSTAR sets his viewmodel to a FOV of 68 with specific offsets (x: 2.5, y: 0, z: -1.5) and preset position 2, which positions the weapon closer to the screen’s edge.
