After facing criticism due to a mistake at the Snap Tap tournament and a loss to NIP three days ago, HEROIC finally got a chance to rehabilitate themselves. The intrigue surrounding Saturday's match was whether they could avenge their past defeat.

HEROIC's match against NIP on Wednesday was remembered for TeSeS fatal mistake of not deactivating Snap Tap, which resulted in the loss of an already won card. Despite HEROIC's attempts to bounce back, they were defeated in the decisive map. However, on Saturday night, they had an opportunity to get revenge and make their way to the Last Chance finals.

Fighting for a spot in the finals

Saturday's match started for HEROIC at Ancient, where the first half was played fairly evenly and ended 6-6. In the second half, however, HEROIC started off with 5 rounds in a row but were unable to consolidate the lead, thus NIP converted to overtimes and ended the first map 16-13. The next map, Nuke, proved to be more successful for HEROIC. After a tight first half, they dominated on the defense side, losing just one round and finishing the game 13- 7.

The decisive battle took place on the Anubis map. HEROIC again showed their skills on the defense side, finishing the first half with an 8:4 advantage. In the second half, they continued their strong play on the T-side and won 13:6, sending NIP home and leaving them out of the ESL Pro League.

The importance of the win and next steps

HEROIC will now face Sangal in the Last Chance final. Interestingly, HEROIC have already lost to Sangal earlier in the tournament, which adds more intrigue to their upcoming clash.
