Strategy

Fire Resistance: Make use of magical means or artifacts that give increased resistance to fire attacks, as this will reduce the level of damage dealt to you.

Control his spells: Continuously disrupt his magical potential by interrupting area-of-effect spells.

Attack with water or ice magic: Since fire and ice are polar opposites, using ice spells will help bring him down sooner.

6. Yurgir

The leader of the Goliaths, this boss majors in sturdy, physical-type attacks and displays quite a bit of resilience.

Features

Heavy Weaponry: Yurgir has heavy weaponry which can do massive damage per hit.

Strong Attack Resistance: He can resist most attacks because of his high level of physical defense, and only takes serious damage after lots of hits.

Strategy

Control him through crowd control, such as slowing or weakening skills, or other means with the use of magic.

Ranged attacks will be your best option because they enable you to evade his strong physical strikes.

Specialized spells to reduce his physical resilience, such as weakening defense or vulnerability, will help shorten the time required to defeat him.

7. Gerringothe Thorm

A spellcaster who has in his possession an arsenal of chaotic magical spells that create a variety of unpredictable effects.

Features

Chaos Magic: Jerringot uses spells that will divert the direction of the attack or have a strong, uncanny effect when one is least expecting it, rendering the outcome quite difficult to predict.

Wide Range of Magic: Besides chaos magic, he can also use other types of magical powers, from fire to electric attacks, making his attacks hard to be defended against.

Strategy

Protect yourself against mad rattling with spells or artifacts that reduce the result of chaos magic.

Try to reduce his mana through attacks or special spells in order to limit the number of spells he can cast.

Position your characters on the battlefield such that you avoid powerful area attacks that would hit a wide radius.

8. Malus Thorm

This is a boss who masters black magic, curses, and has high endurance.

Features

Curses: Malus is able to cast deadly curses upon the heroes, weakening their strength and making them more vulnerable in combat.

High Health: He has plenty of health and is very resistant to attacks.

Strategy

Remove negative effects of curses with the use of curse protection or dispel magic.

You can counter him with prolonged battles, as his only weakness is getting exhausted when he doesn't receive much damage.

Time or stop spells can be used to suppress his attacks and decrease his mobility.

9. Keterik Torm

It is the second act of an important boss in the dark army, with huge physical and magical strength.

Features

Strong Warrior: Keterik is phenomenally healthy and capable of withstanding an immense amount of physical defense. Therefore, he's pretty resilient in a battle situation.

Magical Abilities: Besides being able to commit physical attacks, he can invoke dark magic for an added capability of danger.

Strategy

Combined attack-both physical and magical-should be used in order to break through his defense and give quite a lot of damage.

Destroy his allies, if any, to reduce his support and make the battle easier.

Don't forget protection from dark magic to reduce damage taken from his attacks.

10. Apostle of Myrkul

One of the most powerful bosses that you are going to fight in this final battle is the Apostle of Myrkul. He served under the god of death, Myrkul, and was given the power to wield necrotic forces to bend both shadows and the dead to his will.

Features

Shadow Control: Myrkul's Apostle can conjure an army of shadows to aid him in combat and distract your group. The more shadows that are on the battlefield, the stronger they become.

Necrotic Strikes: An Apostle has terrifying necrotic spells that bring great damage, and can even force the "fear" or "death curse" states.

Magic Resistance: He is highly resistant to most kinds of magic, so he is only vulnerable against specific forms of attacks.

Strategy

Avoid Necrotic Spells: The use of spells or artifacts that increase resistance to necrotic attacks will reduce the amount of damage his main attacks cause.

Neutralize the shadows: Apostle summons a lot of shadows that might overwhelm your group in an instant. Use undead destruction spells like "Holy Flame" or "Undead Destruction" to reduce their numbers quickly.

Protect heroes from fear: as a lot of his attacks cause it, be ready to remove it with spells/abilities. Pay more attention to endurance. The fight with the Apostle of Myrkul may be really long, so manage the resources of your group, potions, and magical energy. Try attacking him without taking too much risk.

Extra Tip: Avoid using too powerful spells during an early moment in the battle, because right in the start, Apostle of Myrkul gains a huge bunch of special kinds of different protections. Start strong attacks when his defense turns weakened.

The final fight against the Apostle of Myrkul is one of the hardest battles in this game, and you need to get your group ready both physically and magically for a long, hard battle.
