ZETA DIVISION is going international? The organization has opened a translator position

Today, representatives of the Japanese esports organization ZETA DIVISION announced a new job opening on their Twitter account. In addition to seeking players and coaching staff, the team is also initiating a search for a manager in the translation department.

Let us remind you that a few weeks ago, the organization stated that they were preparing for major changes in the Valorant roster. The team is recruiting players, coaches, analysts, and other staff. Moreover, they aim to win the upcoming regional VCT 2024 season and qualify for the world championship. You can read more about this in our article. Apparently, the changes in the team are due to poor performances during the competitive season, as the team failed in all the major tournaments they participated in.

The requirements for the prospective translator are quite modest: knowledge of the VALORANT game, ability to communicate at a global level in English and Japanese, interest in esports and the gaming community, ability to work abroad and start fulfilling duties from October 2023.

Now, after the organization opened the competition for the translator position, fans have various opinions. Perhaps ZETA DIVISION plans to venture onto the international scene in the future, but most likely these are improbable options. This is because the team consists exclusively of Japanese players and plans to participate in a regional tour, meaning that the organization does not plan to change the region anytime soon. Another possibility is that the translator is only needed for interpreting various content on social media, i.e., the team wants to foster more fruitful cooperation not only with Japanese but also with international fans.
