Yowamu joins NOEZ FOXX ahead of VCJ 2025 Split 1

On January 27, the esports team NOEZ FOXX announced the addition of Yowamu to their VALORANT roster. He will replace Marin, who left the team at the end of 2024. Additionally, Yowamu will reunite with his former NORTHEPTION teammate, theify.

Yowamu’s Career

The 20-year-old player began his professional VALORANT career in 2022, joining FIRST Gaming in November of that year. As the team’s primary duelist, he gained valuable experience competing against strong opponents such as Crazy Raccoon and FAV gaming, although he was unable to qualify for VCJ 2023 Split 1 and Split 2.

In December 2023, Yowamu joined NORTHEPTION, transitioning from the role of a duelist to a controller. Under his leadership, the team made it to the playoffs of VCJ 2024 Split 1, finishing 4th in Japan. In April 2024, he moved to BC SWELL, returning to his duelist role. He led the team to the main stage of VCJ 2024 Split 3 but left shortly after.

His most recent team was BABO, where he secured 6th place in VCJ 2024 Split 3, achieving victories against teams such as NOEZ FOXX, Sengoku Gaming, and IGZIST.

New NOEZ FOXX Roster

With the addition of Yowamu, the NOEZ FOXX roster now consists of:

The team will compete in VCJ 2025 Split 1, starting January 29. NOEZ FOXX first match will be against the winner of the game between REJECT and ZETA DIVISION ACADEMY.
