Marin announces free agent status and departs from NOEZ FOXX

On December 30, NOEZ FOXX player Marin announced on his X page (formerly Twitter) that he is now a free agent and plans to continue his career with a new team. The player expressed his readiness to perform in Sentinel, Controller, or Flash Agent roles, while also being open to playing other positions.

The 26-year-old Marin began his competitive VALORANT career in 2020 after transitioning to SCARZ. His experience in CS:GO helped his team win the EDION VALORANT CUP and secure second place at the RAGE VALORANT JAPAN Tournament, establishing him as one of Japan’s top Jett players at the start of the competitive scene.

However, the team’s results declined in 2021 with the onset of the VCT circuit. SCARZ failed to advance past the open qualifiers in all tournaments except for VCT 2021 Stage 2. In 2022, Marin left SCARZ after more than two years with the team and joined CREST GAMING Zst. With his new team, he focused on the Sentinel role, playing Killjoy and Cypher, achieving a 7th-place finish in VCJ 2023 Split 1 and 6th place in Split 2.

In December 2023, Marin joined NOEZ FOXX, a team co-owned by DJs Foi and Waki. The team delivered mixed results in VCJ 2024 but managed to reach the Split 3 playoffs via the Premier tournament. During the playoffs, NOEZ FOXX defeated strong opponents such as BC SWELL, Sengoku Gaming, and Delight, ultimately finishing first and securing a spot in VCJ 2025 Split 1. Despite this accomplishment, Marin’s departure from the team was announced shortly thereafter.
