The Kickoff qualifying tournaments for the first Masters of this year, taking place in Madrid, are nearing their conclusion. Today marks the beginning of the playoffs for the Chinese qualifiers, which will determine the two teams that will advance to the upcoming tournament.
It is worth noting that the China region officially joined the Valorant competitive ecosystem only in the summer of 2023. Subsequently, the 11 partner program teams that will compete at the highest competitive level of VCT were announced. Now, after two weeks of intense competition, the top 4 teams have been identified and will compete for two slots at the first major tournament in 2024.
In the semifinals, two matches will take place between the strongest teams from each group, resulting in only 2 teams advancing to the grand final, where they will compete for the championship title tomorrow. It is important to note that regardless of which team becomes the champion and which secures second place, both will advance to the upcoming Masters Madrid.
