Riot Games has released the patch notes for update 11.00 for VALORANT — the game now features a new map, Corrode, updated abilities for several agents, changes to ranked mechanics, and visual effects updates. The update will be available on June 25, and the full list of changes is published on the official Riot Games blog.

Waylay

  • Refract now operates faster: minimum time reduced from 0.5 to 0.35 sec, maximum from 3 to 2 sec. Deactivation time reduced to 0.8 sec, reactivation delay to 0.05 sec.
  • Lightspeed now deactivates faster — 0.6 sec instead of 0.8.
  • Saturate: radius increased from 10 to 12 m, explosion delay reduced.

Ability Stability and Visualization Improvements

  • Breach now has faster disappearing effects for Aftershock.

New Map

Corrode — a new competitive medieval-style map with three lanes and two Spike plant sites. Available in a separate Spike Rush mode for 5 days starting June 25. The Escalation mode will be temporarily unavailable during this period. Icebox returns to Deathmatch and Escalation.

Map Rotation

  • Bind and Corrode added to ranked play and Deathmatch.
  • Pearl and Split excluded.
  • Corrode will also appear in Premier, Unrated, Spike Rush, and Escalation.

Ranked Play

  • In the first 2 weeks on Corrode, players will lose only 50% RR for losses but receive 100% for wins.
  • After mid-season calibration, rank decrease will be softer.
  • Maximum rank post-calibration is Ascendant 3, previously Ascendant 1.
  • Act 4 begins — earn a new charm for the highest rank achieved in the first three acts of 2025.

  • Improved visual effects for suppression: easier to understand when they are active.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed display issues for vulnerability effects.
  • Resolved bugs with abilities for Raze, Omen, KAY/O, Skye, Astra, Cypher, and others.
  • Fixed map object bugs on Bind that caused agent abilities to block teleport.

Premier (PC)

  • Stage V25A4 begins.
  • Team badge, frames, and Champion Aura now appear in the interface.
  • Playoff participants will receive exclusive visual rewards.

Consoles

  • Added Esports Center: follow VCT progress, international league brackets, and team rosters.

The previous patch 10.11 served as a preparatory platform with minor bug fixes and visual changes for the release of update 11.00. The day after the patch release, on June 26, the game will enter Act 4 of Season 25. Stay updated with news and esports events with Bo3.
