The map Abyss is rumored to be returning to VALORANT’s active map pool in the next rotation. This information was shared by Turkish dataminer Marp on social media platform X.

According to the leak, the next map rotation — expected to take place ahead of Champions 2025 — will see Abyss reintroduced, replacing Icebox, which was one of the most-played maps during the Esports World Cup 2025. Abyss was removed from the map pool in Patch 10.00 (released on March 4) when Icebox was brought back in its place.

The most recent map pool update occurred with Patch 11.00 on June 24, which introduced the new map Corrode, brought back Bind, and removed Split and Pearl.
