Riot Games released the patch 10.10 notes for Valorant. This update doesn't bring radical changes to agent balance but addresses important aspects: visual readability of abilities, interface functionality, client stability, and the addition of esports activities. The complete list of changes is already available in the client and on the game's official website.
Agent Updates
Improved visual readability for Raze
The explosions of Raze's abilities are now displayed more accurately. The hitboxes for "Boom Bot" and "Cluster Grenade" now visually match the actual damage zone, and effects disappear faster. This should enhance perception during the heat of battle.
Client Interface
Unified interface between PC and consoles
Developers have started working on standardizing the UI across different platforms. This will enable faster implementation of new features and reduce the cost of interface support.
- On consoles, the separate page for navigating content types has been removed. Now, cards, graffiti, and flexes are displayed together in one section. Navigation with a controller has been improved.
- On PC, level and color indicators have been removed from weapon slots. Minor visual adjustments have also been made.

Ranked Play
Increased RR refund limit
Players below the Radiant rank can now reclaim more Ranked Rating (RR) points for a completed Act. This change comes amid discussions about the problematic rating recalculation system. Riot continues to monitor the situation.
Game Modes
Minor tweaks and hidden changes in Swiftplay
- Tejo's "Armageddon" ultimate now requires 3 points instead of 2. This change effectively took effect in patch 10.09 but was not listed in the official description. Riot promises that all ultimates requiring 9 points will automatically adjust.
- The map Icebox remains unavailable in "Deathmatch" and "Escalation" modes due to ongoing spawn bugs identified in patch 10.09.
Bug Fixes
Work on stability and visual bugs
- Omen: rollback of a fix from patch 10.08 that allowed dead allies to see through smoke when aiming. A new issue with smoke overlays has also been noted and is being investigated.
- Vyse: fixed a bug where "Arc Rose" malfunctioned when hitting objects or being placed too close to the Spike.
- Deadlock: jumping no longer allows avoiding the net in the damage zone.
- Tejo: fixed the drone's vulnerability to Astra's stun and incorrect interaction with Waylay effects.
- Yoru: flashes no longer leave long-lasting marks on walls.
- Brimstone: the ultimate no longer goes under the map.

Esports Features (PC only)
Prediction contest for VCT 2025: Masters Toronto
Starting May 28, a prediction event tied to the Swiss stage of VCT 2025: Masters Toronto begins. Predictions can be made both in the client and on the official website.
Participants need to guess which of the 8 teams will advance to the playoffs. Additional points are awarded for accurately predicting a 2-0 result. Prizes include an exclusive title, bonuses for ranking in the top 50% and top 20%, and a new opportunity to predict the full bracket in the elimination stage.
Console Updates
Improvements to control settings
- A description for quick selection of melee weapons has been added to settings.
- The range of movement parameters has been expanded: Walk/Run speed threshold: the minimum value has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.001. Dead zone movement: the maximum value has been increased from 0.5 to 1.0.
- Walk/Run speed threshold: the minimum value has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.001.

What Came Before?
In patch 10.09, Riot significantly reworked Tejo: abilities were changed, the ultimate cost increased, and the drone became more expensive. There were also balance changes in Swiftplay and Breach's abilities. You can read more about the changes in the previous patch by following this link.
