The group stage of Valorant Champions 2024 is in full swing, and teams are continuing to fight for the playoffs. Among all the participants, the first club to advance to the next stage has already been determined, and it is the Spanish Team Heretics.

Team Heretics were one of the main favorites in their group and confirmed their status thanks to a victory over FunPlus Phoenix with a score of 2-1. This win advanced them to the winner's match, where they secured another victory today.
In the winner's match, the team faced off against the Korean representatives Gen.G Esports, who are also one of the strongest teams in the group. The clash between the two favorites was very intense. Initially, the Korean team won the opponents' pick Abyss with a score of 13-11, showing an excellent start to the match. However, despite the defeat on their own pick, Team Heretics confidently made a comeback on the next two maps. With victories on Lotus with a score of 13-11 and Bind 13-10, the team became the first participant in the upcoming playoff stage.
Valorant Champions 2024 will take place from August 1 to August 25, 2024, in Seoul. Sixteen partner teams, four from each competitive region, will compete for a total prize pool of $2,250,000, as well as the title of world champion and the strongest team for the entire next year.
