Riot Games has introduced a new way to engage viewers—ShotCall, a live prediction mini-game on Twitch. The first beta test will take place during the broadcast of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 on August 8.
What is ShotCall
The ShotCall feature allows viewers to make real-time predictions. For example, who will win on a map, in a round, or even in a clutch situation. Users earn points for correct answers and move up the leaderboard.
How to Participate?
- Visit the official VCT Americas Twitch channel.
- Hover over the video player, and a red crystal ball will appear in the upper left corner.
- Click on the icon and log in with your Riot ID.
- Make predictions and earn points.
- Turn on the sound so you don't miss the opening of new predictions.

ShotCall Beta Testing Schedule:
The feature will be tested throughout the month, and it will be activated every Friday on VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 game days. The top predictors over the four days of testing will receive prizes from Riot Games.
- August 8
- August 15
- August 22
- August 29
ShotCall is Riot's attempt to increase interest in watching official VCT broadcasts and make it more interactive. In the future, developers plan to expand the functionality to other languages and regions.
