Riot Games explains why the next update 9.01 in Valorant has been delayed
MkaelovichOne of the developers from Riot Games explained on social media that the next update 9.01 in Valorant, which was supposed to be released on July 8, has been postponed to a later date.
The 9.01 update in Valorant, which was supposed to be released on July 8, was delayed because the developers at Riot Games started their annual week-long summer vacation on the first day of July. As a result, they were unable to prepare the new patch on time. Some of what awaits us in this update was revealed by Coleman Palm on his X page.
Coleman Palm, the developer responsible for balance and content in Valorant, previously announced on his social media page X that in patch 9.01, the developers plan to fix a bug with game settings that caused bullet tracers to be visible even when they were disabled. The 9.01 patch in Valorant is expected to be released around July 16-17.
I've had a few people send this bug to me, wanted to confirm that we have a fix for this going out in patch 9.01 - we were hoping we could get it into 9.00, but it's a bit more complicated under the hood than it seems

But, we're aware and a fix is coming. Thanks for the reports! https://t.co/ul507AzxSQ
It is likely that this is not the only change we can expect in the next patch. However, do not expect anything major from the patch, as it is a transitional update following the major 9.0.
