During the off-season, the team saw Zeynep "Ritha" Sualp depart, and soon after, Süreyya "Gia" Bayel was moved to the bench. As a result, NAVI Celestials needed two new players.
Updated NAVI Celestials roster:
Lateu and Anva's Career
Nehir "Anva" Dinçer spent her entire career in the Turkish region, playing for teams like Sangal Rebels and İstanbul Wildcats. One of her significant achievements was narrowly missing out on qualifying for the top women's league with the İstanbul Wildcats. Anva will be playing as an initiator, with her favorite agents being Skye and Sova.
Hilal "Lateu" Yaşar also hails from Turkey but received an invitation from the organization Acend to join their female roster after her successful performances in the Turkish scene. With them, she secured third place in the VCT 2023: GC EMEA's first split. Lateu plays as a sentinel, focusing on agents Killjoy and Cypher.
Debut of the Updated Roster
The debut of the revamped roster will take place at the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 3, which kicks off on September 11th. Sixteen teams will compete for a single spot in the world championship and 300 EMEA Points. For NAVI Celestials, the only chance to get to the world championship is to win this tournament since the team has no points. Therefore, even if they finish second, it won't help them secure the second slot.
