Riot Games Launch Investigation into florescent

On May 18, Riot Games announced the initiation of an investigation regarding allegations of sexual assault against professional Valorant player Ava “florescent” Eugene. According to the official statement, the organization is treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and will cooperate with any legal entities to assess the impact of the allegations on the player's participation in VCT competitions.

Initially, florescent denied the accusations, calling them false. However, a day later, a user named karie published a detailed document describing the situation from the perspective of Ava's former partner, known as Brick.

According to Brick's statement, their relationship with florescent lasted from December 2022 to October 2023 and was "toxic, abusive, and controlling." The document mentions instances of pressure, emotional abuse, coercion into sex, and specifically describes an incident on January 3, 2024, which Brick directly calls rape.

The document also mentions a story involving a fake pregnancy, emotional blackmail, refusal to use protection, and includes testimonies from two other former partners of florescent, describing similar behavior: psychological pressure, infidelity, and manipulation. More details can be found at this link.

As of the time of publication, Ava has not commented on the second wave of accusations. Riot emphasized that they do not name individuals until the investigation is complete, which contrasts with the case four years ago with sinatraa, whose name was mentioned immediately.
