In his latest statement on the team's Discord server, the CEO of Paper Rex from the APAC region, nikH, spoke about the renowned style of "W Gaming," acknowledging it to be much more intricate than its aggressive moniker.

By 'W Gaming,' we mean more than just an aggressive playing style," noted nikH. "It's about persistence, positivity, kindness, and the determination to face challenges.

 

He emphasized that this style of play is an integral part of the team's identity, adding:

Our games are fun, enjoyable, and sometimes nerve-wracking, but it's who we are and what we continue to embody.

After defeating Gen.G in the VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 1 finals, Paper Rex faced two defeats at the VCT 2024 Masters Shanghai international tournament, finishing in sixth place. NikH highlighted the team's determination to invest in strengthening their positions.

The Paper Rex team, known for its consistent performances but not yet fully clinching international titles, is gearing up for the next challenge - a match against Talon Esports scheduled for June 16 as part of Stage 2.
