Most Expensive Valorant Skins in 2025 — Are They Worth Their Price?
Most Expensive Valorant Skins in 2025 — Are They Worth Their Price?

Throughout its existence, Valorant has introduced a vast array of skins, with new releases continuing to this day. Developers regularly add fresh bundles featuring unique and intriguing weapons. However, skins are categorized by price and rarity, with higher-tier bundles demanding higher costs. Today, we've compiled a list of the most expensive skins and bundles in Valorant and analyzed whether they justify their price tags.

Before diving in, note that we’ll evaluate bundles by highlighting one skin from each set, excluding melee weapons. Knives are consistently the priciest and most visually impressive items in any collection.

Doodle Buds Phantom

The first skin on our list is the Phantom from the Doodle Buds collection, released in 2022. The bundle costs 6,992 VP, while the Phantom skin alone is priced at 1,775 VP. But is it worth the money? In our opinion, no. Admittedly, the weapon's design is quite unusual, featuring Valorant agents drawn in a humorous cartoon style. However, this uniqueness doesn’t justify spending over $30 on a skin or the entire bundle. The weapon does have one special feature: at the start of the round, all drawn agents appear in black and white, gaining color only after a kill. To fully colorize the image, you'd need to eliminate the entire enemy team single-handedly—a rare feat. Thus, for most players, the weapon remains monochrome, making the price tag for Doodle Buds excessive.

Singularity Phantom

One of the few skins on this list that truly justifies its cost. The Singularity bundle first appeared in Episode 1 back in 2020 and remains one of the best to date. It features a unique futuristic design, an animation where the weapon disassembles into parts, and a finisher effect that pulls the last enemy into a black hole. All these elements make the bundle—and each individual skin—worth the price. However, the costs are significant: the bundle was priced at 8,700 VP, with individual skins (excluding knives) available for 2,175 VP.

RGX 11Z Pro Vandal

The next entry is the Vandal from the RGX 11Z Pro collection, Part 1, which initially cost 8,700 VP. The rifle alone was priced at 2,175 VP. In our opinion, this skin isn’t worth the money. While the RGX 11Z Pro bundle is known for its unique sound effects that make shots and knife hits seem to slice through the air, this is its primary standout feature. The color palette and design are rather basic, the finisher effect is underwhelming, and the animations are ordinary. We believe the only worthwhile item in this bundle is the knife.

Valorant GO! Vol. 1 Phantom

Next up is another Phantom skin, this time from the Valorant GO! Vol. 1 collection. Released in patch 2.03, the bundle cost 8,855 VP. The only notable aspect of this skin is its unique design inspired by the agent Reyna. Was the bundle worth buying for this reason? Probably not. The skins in this collection lack special animations, additional colors, unique sound effects, or a finisher, making the 8,855 VP price tag excessively high. However, fans of specific agents might consider purchasing an individual weapon skin for 1,775 VP—a more reasonable cost.

Note that there’s a second part to this collection, Valorant GO! Vol. 2, but its situation is similar. The skins lack any special effects and are merely styled after specific agents, with a price identical to the first part: 8,855 VP.

Kuronami Vandal

A relatively new skin from a bundle released in early 2024. The bundle costs 9,500 VP, while individual skins are priced at 2,375 VP. In this case, it’s challenging to determine if the cost is justified. On one hand, the weapon’s design is rather ordinary, lacking special effects and featuring overly sharp angles. On the other, it boasts unique sound effects and a stunning finisher animation where rain falls, and the last enemy is trapped in a water sphere. Ultimately, whether the skin is worth its price is a personal decision.

EX.O Vandal

The newest bundle on our list, released just 20 days ago on January 7, 2025. The EX.O collection also costs 9,500 VP, with individual skins priced at 2,375 VP. Despite the high cost, we believe the bundle is entirely worth it, and here’s why: each weapon in the EX.O set, including the Vandal, offers four different color variants that can be unlocked. Additionally, the skins feature extra animations, sound effects, and a finisher effect triggered by securing five consecutive kills. The weapon’s design is sleek and futuristic, making it a clear favorite compared to the RGX 11Z Pro collection.

Protocol 781-A Phantom

One skin that unquestionably justifies its price is the Phantom from the Protocol 781-A bundle. According to the community, this is the best skin for the Phantom, thanks to the following features that enhance gameplay: four upgrade levels, additional animations, VFX effects, a finisher, and even unique voice lines at the final upgrade level. However, this luxury doesn’t come cheap. The Protocol 781-A bundle was priced at 9,900 VP, with the Phantom skin alone costing 2,475 VP—a price tag we believe is fully justified.

Evori Dreamwings Vandal

Another controversial entry, with its bundle priced at 9,900 VP. Upon release, the Evori Dreamwings collection immediately divided the community. Some players considered the skins adorable and worth the price, while others thought nearly 10,000 VP was too steep. We lean toward the latter. While the skins are charming with their unique and cute design, 9,900 VP translates to roughly $100—a hefty sum for such a skin. Ultimately, the decision to buy it is yours.

Spectrum Phantom

Now we move to the two skins from bundles priced over 10,000 VP. First is the Phantom from the Spectrum collection, priced at 10,700 VP. Is it worth the money? Not unless you’re a fan of Zedd. This collection resulted from a collaboration between Valorant and the Grammy-winning German DJ Zedd. While this partnership is noteworthy, the skins aren’t particularly stunning. Their design is overly futuristic, and the effects are limited to minor visual changes and the DJ’s music. If you’re not a Zedd fan, spending 2,675 VP on any skin from this bundle isn’t worth it.

Radiant Entertainment System Phantom

Finally, the most expensive bundle on our list: Radiant Entertainment System, which debuted at 11,900 VP—over $100. This bundle is the only one classified as Ultra rarity, making it genuinely unique. The skins are styled after retro gaming joysticks, with cartridges replacing ammo clips. They also feature multiple upgrade levels, unlocking new effects, animations, and soundtracks. Despite their exceptional quality, 2,975 VP for a single skin remains excessive, making the bundle not worth its price.

In conclusion, purchasing skins is a personal choice. We’ve simply shared our take on the most expensive skins and whether they justify their cost based on our subjective opinion.
