The first day of the IESF World CS:GO Championship 2023 has come to an end, and it's time to summarize all the matches played!
Group A
After all the matches played today, the group looks like this:

- Mongolia (2 wins)
- Germany (1 win, 1 loss)
- Hungary (1 win, 1 loss)
- Argentina (2 losses)
- Vietnam (2 losses)
Today in all groups, the teams have played only 6 matches, when as many as 9 are scheduled for tomorrow!
It is worth noting that all the matches were very close and the most devastating score was the game between Mongolia and Vietnam, where the former won with a score of 16:7.
Group B
After all the matches played today, the group looks like this:

- Uzbekistan (1 win)
- Colombia (1 win,1 loss)
- Tunisia (2 losses)

Today, almost all the matches were devastating, and the most devastating was the match between the Uzbekistan National Team and the Tunisian National Team, where the former took away their opponents with a score of 16:3.

The matches in this group were also the most devastating, but the biggest in the "salad" was the match between the Serbian National Team and the Algerian National Team, where the former beat their opponents with a score of 16:2.
A little about the tournament
The organizers of the tournament consider this event to be the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive". As we mentioned above, the championship itself takes place in the small Romanian town of Iasi. The prize pool of the championship is $100,000!
This tournament will be held from August 26 to September 3, 2023. This championship can rightfully be considered the 15th in this series.
