Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 is the second Major tournament of the year in Counter-Strike 2. The 24 participating teams were selected through regional RMR tournaments. Shanghai Major 2024 will take place from 30 November to 15 December in China. Opening and Elimination stages will be hosted by Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre. The playoff stage will be held at Shanghai Oriental Sports Centre. Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 prize money is $1,250,000. Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 tickets price range from $55 for the most affordable option to $1300 for premium seats. Prices vary depending on the type of ticket and seating. The European region at the Major in China will be represented by: G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Team Spirit, MOUZ, FaZe Clan, HEROIC, 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, BIG, Fnatic, GamerLegion, Cloud9 and Passion UA. Seven teams from the American region will be at the event: FURIA Esports, Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming, paiN Gaming, MIBR, Wildcard and Imperial Esports. Asia and Oceania will be represented by just three teams at the Shanghai Major: The MongolZ, FlyQuest and Rare Atom.

The previous Major was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 was won by Natus Vincere.
