SAW left no chance for B8 in the grand final of the ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, securing a confident 2:0 victory. The Portuguese team won their first international LAN trophy with the participation of new player André "Ag1l" Gil.
Confident victory without a single loss
On their way to the trophy, SAW did not lose a single map, including the final against B8. From the first minutes, the Portuguese team demonstrated confident play, seizing the initiative.
The first map was Ancient, where SAW started strong on the defense side, finishing the first half with a crushing score of 11:1. B8 could not mount a comeback after the side switch, and the match ended 13:3.
On the second map, Nuke, SAW also showed a confident first half, finishing with an 8:4 score. After the side switch, B8 won the pistol round, but it did not help them maintain the pace. SAW quickly regained control and carried the match to victory with a score of 13:5.
