FURIA successfully advanced to the group stage of IEM Cologne 2024 after a tense 2-1 victory over HEROIC. With this result, the Brazilian team now awaits the final group distribution and the announcement of their opponent in the quarterfinals of the top grid.

The series began at the Mirage, which was picked HEROIC. FURIA started off with a solid series and won the first half 8-4. Despite HEROIC's attempts to get back into the game in the second half, FURIA brought the map to the end and won 13-11.

Anubis was the second map where the first half ended with a mirror score like the first half, only in favor of HEROIC. FURIA tried to get back into the game in the second half, but they failed and HEROIC won with a score of 13-8.

The last map was Nuke, where FURIA had a good attack, taking 5 rounds. In the second half FURIA managed to win a series of 4 rounds where they took the lead. With the score 12-10 in favor of FURIA, Sjuush won an incredible 1 vs 4 moment, but it didn't help them and FURIA won with a score of 13-11.
