FURIA have completed the transfer of Danil "molodoy" Golubenko to the sniper position in their team from AMKAL. The signing was surprising for two reasons: the arrival of a player from Kazakhstan to a Brazilian roster and the acquisition of a sniper when the team already has a sniper — Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.
Most likely, with this signing, FalleN will transition to the role of a rifler but will remain as the captain. For molodoy, this is his first experience on the tier-1 scene. In 2025, he joined AMKAL, with whom he reached the closed qualifier for PGL Astana 2025, but there were no more significant achievements.
molodoy's rating over the past 3 months is 7.0. Of course, this is not tier-1 level, but still, the numbers are quite impressive. Even for his level, maintaining such a rating consistently is very good. When comparing his statistics with FalleN, there is a clear advantage in favor of molodoy.
His debut will be at the home PGL Astana 2025, which will take place from May 10 to 18 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The tournament prize pool will be $625,000. This will be his first major LAN event in his career, where he will have the opportunity to make a name for himself.
