In August 2025, the Ukrainian organization Passion UA made headlines by signing the former Complexity roster after the legendary North American team left Counter-Strike 2. This created an unusual situation – the new Passion UA roster is basically the old Complexity core, while some of the original Passion UA players were replaced.
So which version of the team looks stronger: the ex-Passion UA lineup or the new Complexity core now wearing Passion UA jerseys? To find out, we used the BO3 comparison tool, which allows fans to compare players by roles, stats, and playstyle. It’s an easy way to see who really comes out on top in each position.
Snipers: Woro2k vs hallzerk

Looking at ratings, Woro2k edges ahead with 6.5 vs 6.3. He also has more kills on average and higher damage. However, Woro2k dies more often than hallzerk, especially in opening duels, since he plays a bit more aggressively.
When it comes to AWP-specific kills and damage, Woro2k is stronger here as well. But context matters – Woro2k didn’t play many LAN tournaments in the last 12 months, while hallzerk competed at big international events against top opponents. This shows that even if stats favor Woro2k, hallzerk’s numbers carry more weight because of the competition level.

In-Game Leaders: Topa vs JT

Topa has a slightly higher rating, 5.8 compared to JT’s 5.7. He leads JT in most basic stats. But when we look deeper with the BO3 tool, JT shines in utility usage. He’s far better at using grenades (except HE grenades), which shows how much he helps the team as a support.
Individually, their numbers are close. But in terms of impact on the team, JT looks like the more valuable IGL because of how well he sets up his teammates.

Star Riflers: Kvem vs cxzi

The decision makes sense when we compare them. Kvem outperforms cxzi in every category: more damage, higher rating, more kills, and fewer deaths. He’s aggressive but successful with it. His headshot percentage is also very strong – his aim is clean, and his role in the team looks far more impactful.
This is the one spot where Passion UA’s original choice is clearly better than what Complexity had.

Anchors: DemQQ vs Grim

DemQQ is less aggressive and plays safer. He has decent stats and looks like a reliable support, but most of his performances came at lower-tier events. That makes it hard to judge how he would perform at top tournaments.
Grim, on the other hand, has been the clear second star of Complexity for a long time. His experience and consistency make him a much stronger pick. While DemQQ is talented, Grim is simply the higher-quality player right now.
Supports: Jackasmo vs nicx

Jackasmo struggled in the old Passion UA roster. He changed roles, lost key positions, and his stats dropped a lot. He also has little experience at big events, with only one Major in Shanghai on his resume.
Meanwhile, nicx looks better as a support. His stats aren’t amazing, but he brings more stability and has more experience than Jackasmo. That’s why Passion UA kept nicx when they signed Complexity’s roster.

Final Thoughts
The BO3 comparison tool makes it easy to see the differences between the two lineups. On paper, ex-Passion UA has strong individuals like Woro2k and Kvem, but most of their success came at lower levels of competition. The Complexity core brings experience, big-event performances, and proven stars like Grim and hallzerk.
By looking at the stats role by role, fans can explore why Passion UA decided to sign the Complexity roster while keeping only a few of their original players.
This matchup shows exactly how powerful the BO3 tool is – it lets fans dig deep into each player’s strengths and weaknesses, not just team results. Whether you’re comparing snipers, IGLs, or supports, BO3 gives the clearest picture of who really comes out on top.
