Gen.G started the season with a third-place finish at VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff, which wasn’t enough to qualify for Masters Bangkok 2025, ending their three-tournament international streak. Losses to T1 and DRX were expected, given those teams made the Kickoff final, but losing to BOOM Esports in their Pacific Stage 1 opener was a major surprise. Paper Rex
Paper Rex had an underwhelming start to the season, finishing 5th–6th at the Pacific Kickoff — their worst regional result in three years. They’ve won just one of their last four matches, and that was against the inconsistent ZETA Division. After a long period of roster stability, the team signed PatMen, who may debut against Gen.G, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
