After the end of the first stage of Tier-2 competitions on the Spanish scene, the ZETA Gaming team is making changes to its Valorant lineup. Yesterday, it was announced that Fletcher "Leare" Brigden, Povilas "roxie" Krivelis, and coach Cristian "Future" Duarte are leaving the team.
Each of the three former members announced their departure on their official social media accounts. It should be noted that both players did not specify the reason for leaving the team, while the coach referred to the end of his contract. This allows for speculation that the parties ended their collaboration due to poor results in the last tournament.
All three members joined the team at the beginning of January 2024 when the organization introduced a new lineup. Despite the overall preparation and individual skills of each player, the team failed at the first stage of Valorant Challengers 2024 Spain: Rising Split 1, where they finished in 7th place. As a result, the club did not receive a direct invitation to the next stage, prompting changes to its roster.
It is still unknown who will replace the players and coach in the ZETA Gaming lineup, but considering that the roster currently has 4 players thanks to reserve members, the team only needs to find one more player and a new coach. We will follow the team's official social media to learn about the new members.
