Yay from Bleed Esports in the center of a corruption scandal

On April 29, 2024, Genghsta, who played for the Disguised club in the 2023 season, claimed that the player Yay attempted to bribe his coach with $10,000 to move him to the bench, sparking intense discussions both in the esports community and the gaming world.

Genghsta posted a clip of Disguised playing against LOUD in a scrim, showing Yay getting angry: "He's laughing, but it's out of misunderstanding. Will he make the same mistakes in the match?" Additionally, the player alleges that "Yay tried to bribe the coach with $10,000 to move me to the bench", and attached screenshots of conversations with OCEAN, who acted as the coach.

If this happened in any other profession or team, this person would have been kicked out immediately after the first time, let alone multiple times.

Genghsta explained why he brought these allegations during his time with DSG as follows:

I played out the remaining part of Split knowing this information (about Yay attempted bribe). I started my career and maybe played with around 20 partners, but none have been as difficult to play with as now. I feel sorry for BLD players, I hope you have a better time than we did.

Genghsta explained that he made these accusations out of animosity towards Yay and for the sake of BLD players, whom he believes faced similar issues. It should be noted that the claim that Yay bribed is solely Genghsta statement and may be untrue.

Many well-known players have come to Yay defense, expressing their incomprehension of the negative criticism towards the athlete:

Yay was one of the best individuals for me in CS and Valorant, so I don't understand where this hatred towards him comes from. Is he perfect? Of course not, like anyone else. I'm ashamed that videos or screenshots taken out of context are surfacing.

This is surrealism.

I would've left the competitive scene right away after his Yay last tier-1 team dealt with him. If you think he said something toxic, then I hope my scrim recordings never get leaked.

These accusations have attracted significant attention, however, opinions are divided, with some players expressing doubts about Genghsta actions in revealing events from last year.
