Which of the Chinese teams will enter Riot Games' partnership program - Analysts' thoughts after the Valorant China Evolution Series

The third and final stage of the Valorant China Evolution recently concluded, with the team EDward Gaming emerging as the winners. Following the conclusion, well-known Valorant analyst Ryan Central compiled a list of potential teams that may receive partnership with Riot Games in the future.

It's worth mentioning that the Valorant China Evolution Series is a qualifying stage and, concurrently, the equivalent of the Contenders League in other regions. Chinese teams compete for a significant prize pool and important EVO points, which are necessary for entry into Ascension. The tournament's appeal lies in the participation of both lesser-known Tier-2 teams from the Chinese scene and Tier-1 favorites who already have partnerships.

Ryan Central put together his own list of teams, and wrote the likelihood of each team entering the partnership program. At the top, naturally, are EDward Gaming, who were the winners of all three stages of the Valorant China Evolution, making their candidacy obvious. The list of likely teams also includes FunPlus Phoenix and BiliBili Gaming, who have already competed on the international stage this year and unofficially already have partnerships. In addition to the aforementioned tops, the analyst believes that TOP Esports and Rare Atom, who also showed good results in recent tournaments, will also receive partnerships.

While Ryan Central's opinion on JD Gaming might seem controversial, since their performance in Valorant is below average, their contribution in another Riot Games discipline, League of Legends, where the team is considered one of the strongest, is likely to be taken into account. All of the analyst's assumptions can be viewed in the table above, but it's worth noting that there will be a total of 10 partnership teams in China, so in addition to the participants listed above, there will be four more clubs. We look forward to official information from Riot Games, as well as the results of Ascension.
