On August 2, Leo Faria, the Global Esports Lead for Valorant at Riot Games, announced that the sale of the VCT 2024 team capsules will end on September 12.
The team capsules were released for sale in February of this year and include 4 items: a classic emblem, a buddy, a player card, and a spray. Half of the proceeds from sales are distributed among the teams, reflecting strong sales.
According to Faria, “some teams have already surpassed their guaranteed annual sales amount within two weeks of release”. In March, the official VCT Americas YouTube channel released a special program called “Spark Tank,” where Leo Faria discussed the successful sales of the capsules.

Faria also noted that if sales continue to be successful, capsules with skins for other types of weapons might be introduced. New capsules are expected to be released before the start of the next season. At the same time, it is unclear if the current capsules will be completely unavailable in the future.
Shortly after Champs ends. I’ll get you the exact date.

Faria emphasized that the likelihood of seeing skins for main weapons like Vandal and Phantom in the team capsules is low. Such skins are planned to be tied to the Champions event and distributed among league teams. New weapon skins are expected to be introduced next year.
