Recently, the well-known information portal Streams Charts summarized the results of October 2023 on the Twitch platform. According to the results, the shooter from Riot Games has entered the top-10 disciplines, but lost its position compared to September 2023.
As reported by Streams Charts, last month, Twitch had an average of 208 thousand viewers watching the discipline from Riot Games at the peak of popularity. Thus, the total number of hours watched for Valorant is 51.95 million. With such figures, the shooter entered the top-10 disciplines with the most views and took 6th place.
Interestingly, these figures differ significantly from September 2023. In the first month of autumn, the number of Valorant viewers at the peak of popularity was smaller at 177 thousand, but the total number of hours watched was higher at 61.71 million.
It should be reminded that the largest share of Valorant's popularity is brought by the well-known streamer Tarik. The former professional CS:GO player, now a streamer and content creator for the American organization Sentinels - Tarik "tarik" Celik, is one of the most famous personalities in the entire discipline. His popularity allowed him to attract more viewers during the Valorant Champions 2023 broadcast than the official Riot Games channel on YouTube. Also, according to Streams Charts, he recently entered the top three in views for the third quarter of 2023. Read more about this in our material.
Although the overall popularity of Valorant has dropped slightly compared to previous months, it is not because viewers are losing interest in the discipline. The official competitive season by Riot - VCT 2023 has already ended, and therefore no major tournaments with professionals are taking place in Valorant. Currently, during the offseason, local events are prevailing, featuring newcomers or less-known teams, which may not be interesting for viewers to follow.
