Today marks the start of the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE - Format and all necessary information

One of the biggest tournaments in the Valorant off-season, the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE, begins today. Below, we will tell you all the details of the tournament, as well as provide information you need to know before the event starts.

A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament, six of which received direct invitations, while the other two were winners of qualifying stages in their regions. The participants are divided into two groups, within which they will compete in a double elimination format.

After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete in a single elimination format. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format, with the grand final being a best-of-five.

 
 

The AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE will take place from December 5 to 10 in a LAN format in Seoul, at the Afreeca Colosseum arena. Eight teams will compete for a large off-season prize pool of $80,000 and the title of the tournament's strongest team.
