In any competitive game, an Anti-Cheat system is present to ensure a higher quality gaming experience. However, the effectiveness of this protection system came into question after a test conducted by YouTuber Lucas “Lukinhas” Gobi. In his video, the YouTuber examined the Anti-Cheat systems in Valorant and Counter-Strike 2, using the same program to determine which one has more effective protection against cheaters.
To conduct the analysis, Lukinhas acquired one of the currently most popular cheats, which utilizes artificial intelligence and, of course, comes at a cost. Afterward, he began playing unofficial matches in the company of several friends.
Lukinhas warned his comrades that he was using cheats and asked his friends to report his account during the games. Additionally, opponents also filed complaints. Lucas expected to be banned during one of the test games, but it never happened.
Even with the absence of a ban, the YouTuber waited a day and launched Valorant again, but no punishment was issued. In Counter-Strike 2, he did manage to receive a temporary penalty due to a large number of complaints, but the Anti-Cheat did not detect the use of cheats.
It is worth reminding that developers emphasize that players should not abuse bugs and use third-party programs to gain a competitive advantage in their games. Any form of cheating is subject to a ban, leading to the loss of the account.
