The roster of Korean tops Gen.G Esports is being replenished with another player

Today, representatives of the Korean organization Gen.G Esports in their official social networks announced a new addition to the Valorant roster. The new player, who will strengthen the team for the upcoming VCT season, is the professional - Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom.

Fans of the Korean professional are thrilled because the player is finally returning to the competitive Valorant scene after a three-month break. In the comments on the official post, they simply wish him luck with the phrase GL. In turn, representatives of the new organization welcomed Munchkin and stated that they are taking him back into their arms.

We take you back into our arms! Please welcome and meet Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom in the Gen.G VALORANT lineup for 2024.

It's worth remembering that Gen.G Esports had a rather mediocre performance during the last competitive season. The team failed at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo where it took the 17-32nd place, but later secured the fourth place at VCT 2023: Pacific League. Ultimately, the club did not make it to the world championship, after which the team's roster lost two players, and the collective was unable to participate in off-season tournaments.

Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom will be a good reinforcement for the Korean team. The player has three years of experience behind him, and he spent the last competitive season with the tops of his region T1, with whom he took 3rd place at VCT 2023: Pacific League. Throughout his career, the professional has earned approximately $41,000.
