The AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE has just started, and it's already showing an incredible show to the viewers. In the first match, in Group A, there was a clash between Paper Rex and Sentinels, as a result of which, the Singaporean top teams conducted one of the fastest rounds in the entire history of Valorant.
Both teams won their maps and moved on to the final Haven with a score of 1-1, in the second round of which an incredible performance took place. Acting on the defenders side, the Sentinels players, all five of them, decided to push point C, for which they paid a price. The American players all decided to run into a narrow corridor, where their opponents were already waiting for them. As a result, four Sentinels players were killed, and the last one was even stabbed with a knife. The Paper Rex participants spent only 9 seconds on this, which is a record on the professional scene.
The audience and commentators were thrilled by such an event, because on the professional scene, rounds usually last as long as possible, until the end of time. Despite such a start, Paper Rex still lost the third map, and as a result, the match itself with a score of 1-2. Now they fall into the losers' match, where they will wait for their opponent for the right to continue their journey in the tournament.
Remember, the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE is the biggest tournament in the off-season, taking place from December 5 to 10 in a LAN format. Eight teams are fighting for the title of the winner and a large prize fund, amounting to $80,000.
