Recently, representatives of the Chinese division of Riot Games released a teaser for the Protocol 781-A bundle, which will soon be available in their region. The community in other regions sadly noted that such video announcements often appear only in China.
It is worth reminding that Valorant was officially released in China only in the summer of 2023. Due to this, players from this region are lagging in some aspects. This is particularly true for skin bundles, which are not very numerous in the Chinese store yet. Interestingly, with the release of each new bundle, representatives of Riot from the Chinese region create unique video announcements, which are liked by players from different regions.
Protocol 781-A appeared in Valorant in patch 4.0. It includes skins for Sheriff, Spectre, Bulldog, Phantom, and a melee weapon. The bundle's price is 9,900VP, which means its rarity type is Ultra. After the announcement in the Chinese region, players from other countries were impressed by the video announcement, but at the same time, they were disappointed. The reason is that in other regions, video trailers for bundles are quite rare, and usually only for expensive, unique bundles.
Perhaps in the future, Riot Games will introduce a similar trend in all regions, and each bundle, regardless of its uniqueness and price, will receive its own video announcement or trailer.
