The playoff stage in the second qualifiers in the American region started yesterday, and we could already follow two interesting matches. As part of the first round of the playoffs, 2 fights were played, and we will tell you about the results below.

MIBR vs. 100 Thieves

In the first match, we were waiting for a meeting between the favorites of the Omega group - MIBR and the mid-tier team 100 Thieves, and the result was quite natural. MIBR struggled to win their opponents' Split choice with a score of 13:10, and then easily won their Icebox choice with a score of 13:4.

Sentinels vs. Cloud9

In the second match, Sentinels met Cloud9 and the match was also not very spectacular. The most famous team in the American region, although not without a struggle, still won on two maps Ascent and Pearl with the same score of 13:9, thus becoming the winner of the match.

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 runs from March 21 to May 4. During the event, 12 teams will compete for three places at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto and Americas Points, which are needed to further qualify for the Champions.
