T1 celebrates their first victory at the VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 1 tournament

The highly anticipated match between T1 and Rex Regum Qeon took place at the VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 1 tournament on April 16, where the T1 team secured a victory with a score of 2-0, earning their first win of this stage.

At the post-match press conference, head coach Autumn and iZu addressed the journalists, expressing their joy over the victory and sharing their impressions of the win. Autumn noted that the victory was very important for the team, adding that "it was a victory that we really needed, and we are very happy." iZu emphasized that changes in the team's style of play and tactics led to the well-deserved victory.

An interesting moment was the change in the IGL role within the team: before the match against RRQ, T1 switched the IGL role from Carpe to Xccurate. Autumn stated that Xccurate will continue to play as the IGL and emphasized that he is very pleased with the player's success in the new role.

I really admire his ability to make this decision independently, and his style of play is what I really need, so I will leave him as the IGL.

Xccurate, who has experience as a professional player in CS:GO, first competed in Valorant competitions in the fall of 2023. His joining the T1 team marked his debut in this world.
